Troy, NY -- Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly announced today that Jahnye Griffin, 21, of Watervliet, was indicted on one count of each Attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree, Assault in the 1st Degree, Burglary in the 1st Degree, 2 counts of Robbery in the 1st Degree, all class B violent felonies, and one count of Strangulation in the 2nd Degree, a class D violent felony.
Griffin is accused of attacking Jeffrey Bagley of Lansingburgh on March 24th at his residence. Griffin is currently remanded without bail in Rensselaer County jail.
Assistant District Attorney Antonia Lane is handling the case.
