This program provides a Therapists, Staff Psychiatrist, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, for the incarcerated individuals at the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility. The functions of this program include: crisis management, diagnostic evaluation, linkage to social services, comprehensive treatment planning, individual and group counseling, referral and aftercare planning. This service provides coordinated care with the Medical Services via Prime Care and Addiction Treatment provided by the Addiction Care Center of Albany at the facility. Incarcerated individuals may reach out o the Forensic staff via the facility Kiosk system to self-refer.
