TROY MAN INDICTED ON ATTEMPTED MURDER AND CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON CHARGES
TROY, NY- Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly announced today that Terrell Clark, 28, of Troy, NY was arraigned before the Honorable Debra J. Young on a nine-count indictment which includes three counts of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree The defendant was remanded to the custody of the Rensselaer County Jail.
On June 27th, 2020, in the vicinity of 81 Middleburgh Street in the City of Troy, the defendant is alleged to have fired several shots into a vehicle occupied by two adults and an infant child. None of the occupants of the vehicle were injured in the incident. The Troy Police Department located and arrested the defendant the next day on these charges.
Donnelly said “The indictment of Terrell Clark is the first step toward securing justice for the victims. After the long hiatus, we are pleased to be back in front of grand jury which will allow us to keep important matters like this moving forward.”
