Second Week of Testing is Expanded: The second week of COVID-19 testing in Rensselaer County has been expanded, with Whitney M. Young, Jr. Health Center agreeing to host several clinic sessions this week, County Executive Steve McLaughlin announced

The Whitney M. Young, Jr. Health Center testing will join testing being conducted by The IMA Group in the county. Whitney M. Young, Jr. Health Center held several sessions last week along.

“We are glad to see even more testing come to Rensselaer County and look forward to more of our residents being tested,” said McLaughlin.

“Expanded testing helps get treatment for those who may have been exposed and maps our road to normalcy,” added McLaughlin.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12, Whitney Young will be holding a clinic at the County Office Building, 1600 7th Avenue, downtown Troy, from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Whitney Young will also host a clinic at the Rensselaer City Hall, 62 Washington Street, on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Also on Friday, Whitney Young will return to the County Office Building from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. On Friday, Whitney Young will be doing testing at their Lansingburgh location from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Whitney M. Young, Jr. Health Center testing accompanies the The IMA Group and Lab Corp’s testing from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. at Hudson Valley Community College.
