Troy, NY –Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly announced today that 27 year old Isaiah
Bridges of Troy, pleaded guilty to Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree: Loaded firearm, a
class “C” Felony armed violent felony offense, in violation of section 265.03 (3), of the Penal Law of the State
of New York.

This is a Second Felony Offense for Bridges. Bridges’ plea has him facing 5 years in state prison and 5 years
post release supervision.

“Mr. Bridges possessed a loaded firearm, it is our duty to prosecute these individuals,” said District Attorney

Assistant District Attorney Cheryl McDermott prosecuted the case. Bridges is released on bail until his
sentencing on July 14, 2021.
