This program offers FREE outreach to Rensselaer County community groups, senior groups, schools, businesses, camps, children’s groups, after school programs, PTO meetings, and faith based organizations.

The purpose of this program is to inform, educate, and empower the public about health issues.
Our goal is to promote physical and mental wellbeing. The more knowledge our county residents have regarding health can only help us prevent disease, injury, and disabilities.

ONLY YOU…know the health issues facing your community, can consider implementing a health education program, can help us provide safer environments for your members of the larger Rensselaer County community.

Public Health Education

Our programs provide our community with the tools they need to understand the facts and make informed decisions based on their knowledge. We can provide this information through presentations, assemblies, health fairs, career fairs, materials and brochures, or even answer questions and concerns over the phone.
I know YOU are aware of the health issues facing your community. Please take advantage of the FREE health education programs that the Rensselaer County Department of Health offers!

We care about YOU…

The Rensselaer County Department of Health is made up of a dedicated staff of public health professionals who have as their mission the promotion of health, prevention of disease, injury, and disability.
Give them the tools to make decisions for a better health.
