BLAZESTACK FIRE SOFTWARE FUNDED BY DISTRICT ATTORNEY

Fire check - MPDTroy, NY -- Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly announced today that she has awarded funding to the City of Rensselaer Fire Department for the purchase of Blazestack Fire Investigation software. The funding for this acquisition was provided through forfeiture funds. 

The cloud-based fire investigation and case management software streamlines the investigation process with on-site collection enabling the fire investigation team to gather evidence, photos and notes on scene after a blaze. Significantly enhancing investigative documentation and case prevention benefitting both investigative and prosecutorial outcomes.

“The initiative reflects a continued collaboration between the District Attorney’s office and local emergency services to enhance public safety and investigative efficiency,” said District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly. 

Accepting the check on behalf of the City of Rensselaer were Chief William Brooking, Mayor John DeFrancesco and Police Chief Warren Famiglietti.
