Troy, NY -- Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly announced that Reynaldo Gonzalez, 49, of East Greenbush pled guilty today to Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 1st Degree. A Class B violent felony stemming from a search on March 10 of his residence and his storage units.
East Greenbush police recovered ten firearms, several rounds of ammunition, methamphetamines, a kilogram of cocaine, and other narcotics distribution materials in the search. Gonzalez had no permits for these firearms and is a restricted from owning a firearm due to a previous felony conviction.
Gonzalez will be sentenced on September 10th and is expected to receive a sentence of 11 years in state prison with 5 years post release supervision.
