Victim Impact Panel

This panel is a forum at which you will listen to presentations from individuals who have lost family members in alcohol related crashes. The panel is co-sponsored by the Rensselaer County STOP-DWI Program and Remove Intoxicated Drivers (RID).  

Pre-registration required, you must complete the bottom portion of VIP form and mail it with a check or money order in the amount of $25.00, made payable to the Rensselaer County STOP-DWI Program. 

Referrals to the panels are most often made by courts within the County and/or the Probation Department.  These referrals may be a condition of discharge for a DWI offense.  If you or a family member are under no obligation to attend, but would like to, please contact the STOP-DWI office.

The panels are held in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center’s Auditorium at the Hudson Valley Community College Campus in Troy, not at the court where you were sentenced.  The Campus is located on Route 4 across the Street from the Price Chopper Plaza. The Bulmer Technology Center is located on the northwest tip of the Campus. There is plenty of parking available, please arrive early for check in.
