The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia And Alzheimer’s Disease. The Troy Public Library will be hosting an Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregiver’s Series presented by the Alzheimer’s Association. Session 1 in the 3-part series will be held April 17th at 2 p.m. This program is designed to provide basic information that everyone needs to know about memory loss issues and what they mean for all of us. The program explores the difference between memory loss brought about by normal aging vs. Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. This program is free and open to the public.
