Sounds of Spring Lantern Walk will take place at Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center on April 26th from 6:30 pm until 9pm. Make a creative lantern to take with you on a twilight hike while listening to the musical sounds of spring as nature reawakens. We’ll listen for spring peepers, wood frogs and barred owls. This event is for all ages and pre-registration required. There will be a $5 material fee for lanterns. Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center is a Rensselaer County Park open daily during daylight hours for hiking, fishing and non-motorized boating. Kayak and canoe rentals available.
