Van Rensselaer Manor is a unique state of the art 362 bed skilled nursing facility located at 85 Bloomingrove Drive, Troy, NY. The facility opened May 29, 1996 and includes a diverse offering of therapeutic services. This facility has two nursing units specializing in Alzheimer and dementia. These units were constructed to offer pacing corridors and enclosed courtyards to promote and enhance the need of those residents who choose to meander about the unit. In addition one unit has piped in oxygen for residents requiring respiratory assistance. All Services are provided to residents including short-term rehab in addition to traditional skilled nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and hearing therapy, horitcultural therapy, and an extensive activities program.
