Central Services - Purchasing Department

The Bureau of Central Services is the County department responsible for centralized purchasing. All public bids for the procurement of goods and services for the various county departments, as well as non-bid purchases, are funneled through Central Services.

The County's Purchasing procedures and guidelines are administered by Central Services.  Compliance with both County and State requirements for public purchasing are monitored by this department.

Providing centralized purchasing services is just one of several areas of responsibility administered by this Bureau. It serves as the County's lead telecommunications liaison and provides high-volume copying and mail processing services through Central Printing and Mailing.

Additionally, the Bureau of Central Services administers the electronic procurement of office supplies by County Departments to ensure compliance with both county and state statutory purchasing requirements.
